Nordic Quizzing Championships 2008

The first ever NQC will be held in Tallinn on May 10.

The event will take place in Tallinna Reaalkool (Tallinn Secondary Science School) at Estonia pst. 6, which is right next to the National Opera Theatre and very close the Vabaduse Väljak (Freedom Square). I'll try to put up a map of the location shortly.

The schedule:
9.30 am - registration
10 am - Individual competition
12.30 - Lunch
13.30 - Pairs competition
16.00 - Coffee break
17.00 - Team competition (for teams of four)
19.30 - Awards ceremony

Participation fees:
Whole program: 500 EEK (32 €)
Only one or two competitions: 300 EEK (19 €)
Both fees include catering (Lunch+Coffee break). Fees are best to be paid on the spot, but registration to events should be completed by May 1, either here in the forum or by e-mail to arko@kilb.ee

All quizzes have 100 questions, set by quizzers from each participating nation (Estonia, Finland, Norway). The question will be translated to each language and presented on paper. The English version on the questions will also be available as a reference (hopefully also on the big screen).

This forum is set up to discuss issues relating to NQC. No registration is required to post in this section.
