Matis kirjutas:Haapsalu (West Estonia, Läänemaa) is really nice town. Tower, Train Museum, Yacht Port, Promenade.
Yes, in fact it is nice. And quite quiet in autumn - I know
But it's worth to look around here anyhow. If you choose to do that, give me a call, I can guide you around - +372 5255630

On the Belgian forum Steven said something about a reception being given Thursday evening 3 November. Is that correct? When and where will this reception take place?

The Tallinn city government has given it's initial promises but this still needs confirming. Due to municipal elections this is a confusing time, but we hope they will keep their promises. As soon as this is clear, it will be announced here

Are Insu and Hallvatt nice Estonian ladies who can help me spending my time and money?
One in Haapsalu, one in Tartu?
I'm sorry, but my 'bondscoach' Staf Dujardin doesn't allow me to have that kind of excitement. Belgium is a country of cyclists, and Belgian cyclists do sleep alone during the Tour de France. That's why they have won so many times the last 30 years.

No, I'm a man. At least I think so
Nor I don't know nothing about ladies Polt recommends, but I'm sure he knows, he is the ladies man here.
Cyclists, bah! Estonains are car-nation. If you don't fancy big shiny powerful cars, you shouldn't come here at all...

) will not yet have arrived on Thursday.

This reminds me a story on bicycles and cars: when former Estonian supersprinter Jaan Kirsipuu moved to a French pro club (Chazal, Casino or what was the name?), everybody in the area thought that he is some grim Russian gangster, because he is almost bald and drove a large BMW, but all French in area drove in petit design cars instead of macho-tanks

I guess there were no cyclists in that area.
Anyhow, today I've learned that I drive a design car (Nissan Micra).
But I fear that won't impress the Estonian ladies.

I guess if it is Micra, then it would have to be in trendy colour. There is always hope, although it might be a bit tricky for our british friends
Because some pubs in Tallinn have lately put up signs NO BRITISH (stag parties).
